We had a backed-up sink in our new home, and So-Cal 1 Plumbing & Rooter was quick and responsive, showing up the same day after booking through Thumbtack. Roger and Shane were fantastic—Roger worked incredibly hard getting into a very tight crawlspace, while Shane prepared detailed estimates and walked me through the situation step by step. Unfortunately, they uncovered bigger plumbing issues caused by poor work done by the previous homeowners—definitely not So-Cal 1's fault. What started as a $100 fix turned into an expensive, but necessary repair. Roger and Federico returned first thing the next morning and completed everything in under two hours. The sink now drains perfectly, and Federico even provided a one-year warranty and took time to explain future maintenance needs. Big thanks to Roger, Shane (congrats on your birth of your baby!), and Federico for their professionalism, efficiency, and honesty. Christian showed up on time, was kind and professional, and I can tell he’s a hard worker. While my issue wasn’t fixed, I can still appreciate when a company is honest and stands behind their work. A clog in the sewage pipe was the suspected culprit for my issue, and when removing that clog didn’t fix the issue at hand, the company offered to make things right without me even having to ask. That’s the kind of business I can recommend.

Cesar, was very informative. The gas company said my fireplace gas valve was leaking. On the phone Cesar explained all the possibilities and options to repair it. I had sent him photos and the specific recommendation from the gas company guy. I was nervous about the cost so he encouraged me to shop around and call him back. I called several others and they were lower cost but, I didn't feel confident of their expertise and knowledge. After all we're talking about a gas leak which can be dangerous if not corrected properly. I could tell Cesar had a thorough understanding of the problem and he could definitely fix it. I called him back scheduled a time convenient for us both, he arrived on time looked at the valve, we discussed the options and I gave him my choice, within an hour he fixed it. Also, have a one year warranty. He's my plumber going for the future

I contacted So Cal 1 Plumbing after part of my main sewer line was blocked and sewage backed up into one of my bathrooms. Miguel showed up and gradually troubleshooted the issue with his team, which took a little over a day given that the blockage was along part of the main sewer line that forked off the primary connection under my front yard. This fork had no cleanout serving it so it required a hole in my yard to investigate it after hydro jetting failed. Miguel walked me through what they had discovered and used the in-pipe camera to show me that it was a worst-case scenario - the blocked fork of the main line had become completely filled in with tree roots and the rest of the main line was compromised with roots beginning to intrude all along it. So the whole line needed to be replaced or at least cleaned and lined if I wanted to avoid a similar failure from happening again soon. Even though the large scope of work was unexpected, the next day Miguel showed up with a team of 10 people who managed to dig up the old fork, replace it with a new abs pipe, install a liner along the rest of the main line, and put back all original soil. All within a single day. They documented their work with photos and I periodically came out to inspect. I can appreciate that Miguel and team do not take on work unless they are confident that they can do it correctly in a way that they can uphold the 10-year warranty that they gave me on their labor. To this end, Miguel came back twice after the work (at no additional cost) in order to help repair a sprinkler line that got damaged when filling back in the hole. The second time he came back, the issue ended up not even being related to their work yet they were kind enough to help me fix it at no additional charge. While I sense that their overall price was not the least expensive on the market, it was still reasonable and well worth it when considering how quickly they executed the work, how high of a quality they did it, and how committed they are to their customer's satisfaction.

I can see why So-Cal 1 Plumbing is top rated on Thumbtack. They responded quickly, provided a quote, scheduled an appointment, their staff called to confirm their appointment, they showed up on time, professional and knowledgeable. The issue was resolved with a 15 day warranty. And did I mention it cost less than the original quote? I will be telling everyone about this company and look forward to using them again in the future. Thank you for making my life easier yesterday.

Great work and very honest/up front. Cesar identified a problem we didn't even know about and fixed it while keeping us looped in the whole time. He and Daniel did a great job explaining what they would be doing and the follow up needed. Highly recommend!

They fixed the issue so fast and educated us on why this happened and how to fix it. Gave us a clog warranty incase there's an issue in the near future. Thought we needed it snaked but they used their fancy machines to find a crushed pipe in the line. Really appreciated the professionalism. Would use again!
