So-Cal 1 Plumbing & Rooter provides professional plumbing services including, but not limited to:

- Leak detection and pipe repair
- Sewer line inspection and repair
- Fixture installation and replacement
- Water filtration and treatment systems
- Backflow testing and prevention
- Commercial and residential plumbing services
- Plumbing maintenance and inspection
Service Area
We provide services throughout Orange County, California, and surrounding areas. Specific service availability may vary by location and technician availability.
Service Requests
Service requests can be made through:
- Phone calls to our business line
- Website contact forms
- Email communications
- Google Business Profile bookings
- Direct scheduling through our customer portal
All service requests are subject to availability, scheduling constraints, and service area limitations.
3. Eligibility and Authorization
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to enter into a service agreement with us. By requesting services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
Property Authorization
By scheduling services, you represent and warrant that you:
- Own the property where services will be performed, OR
- Have explicit authorization from the property owner to request and approve services, OR
- Are a property management representative with authority to contract for services
Important: We reserve the right to request proof of ownership or authorization before beginning work. Unauthorized requests may result in service cancellation and applicable fees.
Emergency Services
For emergency services requested outside normal business hours, you acknowledge that emergency rates apply as outlined in our pricing structure.
4. Scheduling and Appointments
Appointment Booking
Appointments are scheduled based on technician availability and service area logistics. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time but cannot guarantee specific scheduling.
Appointment Confirmation
All appointments will be confirmed via:
- Phone call or text message
- Email confirmation
- Automated appointment reminder (24 hours prior)
Service Windows
Standard service windows are typically 2-4 hours. We will contact you when our technician is en route to provide an estimated arrival time.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customer Cancellations:
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance: No charge
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: May incur a $75 cancellation fee
- No-show appointments: Subject to a $150 no-show fee
Company Cancellations: If we must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to technician unavailability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Offer alternative scheduling options
- Waive any trip fees or diagnostic charges for the rescheduled appointment
Access Requirements
You must provide clear access to the service area. If our technician cannot access the work area due to locked gates, pets, debris, or other obstructions, this may be treated as a no-show appointment and subject to applicable fees.
5. Pricing, Estimates, and Payment Terms
Service Call and Diagnostic Fees
- Standard service call fee: Varies by service type and location
- Emergency service premium: May apply for after-hours, weekend, or holiday service
- Diagnostic fees: May be charged for inspection and problem identification
- Trip fees may be waived if you proceed with recommended repairs
Estimates and Approvals
- We provide upfront pricing before beginning work whenever possible
- All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of inspection
- Significant additional work discovered during service requires your explicit approval before proceeding
- You have the right to decline any recommended service without obligation
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements are made in advance.

- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards
- Checks (with approved credit; subject to verification)
- Financing options (subject to credit approval through our third-party financing partners)
Late Payment: Accounts not paid in full within 30 days of invoice date are subject to:
- 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% APR) on unpaid balances
- Collection agency referral for accounts over 60 days past due
- Legal action for accounts over 90 days past due
- Responsibility for all collection costs, attorney fees, and court costs
Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time. Pricing in effect at the time of service confirmation will apply to your service, even if prices change before the service date.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty
We guarantee our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion. If a problem arises due to faulty workmanship within this period, we will repair or correct the issue at no additional charge.
Warranty Coverage Includes:
- Labor for re-installation or repair of work performed by our technicians
- Corrections of errors or deficiencies in our original work
Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Modifications made by others after our service
- Problems unrelated to our original scope of work
- Parts and materials (covered under manufacturer warranties)
- Damage from freezing, corrosion, or environmental factors beyond our control
Parts and Equipment Warranties
Parts, fixtures, and equipment installed by us are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist in facilitating warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defect coverage. Specific warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product.
Emergency Services Disclaimer
Due to the urgent nature of emergency repairs, temporary solutions may be implemented to prevent immediate damage. These temporary repairs may require follow-up service for permanent resolution. Temporary repairs carry a 30-day workmanship guarantee.
Warranty Claims Process
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact us within the warranty period
- Describe the issue and reference your original service date
- Allow us to inspect and assess the problem
- We will determine if the issue is covered under warranty
- Covered repairs will be scheduled at our earliest availability
Warranty claims must be made in writing or via phone to our main business line.
7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, So-Cal 1 Plumbing & Rooter’s total liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Exclusion of Consequential Damages
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Loss of use of equipment or property
- Cost of substitute services
- Damage to other property not directly worked on
- Business interruption
- Water damage occurring after we leave the premises
Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the performance, warranties, or liabilities of third-party contractors, manufacturers, or suppliers, except as required by law.
Pre-Existing Conditions
We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, code violations, or defects that existed before our service unless we were specifically contracted to address those issues.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Disclosing all known issues or concerns before service begins
- Providing accurate information about your plumbing system
- Maintaining plumbing systems according to manufacturer recommendations
- Promptly reporting any issues that arise after service
8. Intellectual Property Rights

- Gas leaks (Note: For immediate gas leak emergencies, call 911 first)
- Complete loss of water service
- Frozen or burst pipes
Emergency Rates
Emergency services requested outside normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM) are subject to premium rates, which may include:
- After-hours service charge
- Weekend premium
- Holiday premium
Emergency rates will be disclosed at the time of service request.
Emergency Authorization
In emergency situations where immediate action is required to prevent property damage or safety hazards, our technicians are authorized to take necessary stopgap measures (such as shutting off water supply) before obtaining full service authorization.
15. Permits, Codes, and Regulations
Permit Responsibility
For projects requiring building permits:
- We will advise you if permits are required
- Permit acquisition is typically the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We can obtain permits on your behalf for an additional fee
- Work will not begin until all required permits are secured
Code Compliance

You are responsible for:
- Code compliance of existing systems not part of our current scope of work
- Bringing pre-existing violations to our attention
- Deciding whether to upgrade non-compliant systems we discover
Inspection Requirements
For work requiring inspection:
- We will schedule required inspections with local authorities
- You must provide access for inspection
- Re-inspection fees due to issues unrelated to our work are your responsibility
- Work is not considered complete until passing final inspection
16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
